Battlefield stories: Starcraft 2 beta 2 started

Finally it started for EU servers. Still some issues, but looking good.

I tried AI. As I stated in my previous post I was hoping AI to be smarter, to try something new, and thus make mistakes. But no. AI is still brute force. While insane mode is cheating getting more resources and working on full power, I guess that easier levels are just slower program loop. Very predictable...

Combination of units will rush you as soon as possible. If it stays with only 1 or 2 units it will retreat (looks intelligent) and then things just going on. Attack, produce new units, regroup, attack, produce new units, regroup. Until the end of game.

However, if you are noob don't underestimate AI's brute force. He will use everything against you. On hard level you will easily see Battlecruiser in combination of units. AI have the same play. He techs up and build all kind of buildings and units. I noticed only one expansion on hard level, undefended. And that's all of the brain.

I actually lost one game because I concentrated on certain type of units. And I lost on Scrap Station. AI found all my bases and destroy them. I was struggling but with poor result.
Then I played rematch, same map, same race, same level, and I go proxy. I placed three bunkers in front of his ramp, one barracks, and keep pumping marines. He gets out and lost first round and he was easily prisoned in his base.

He is weak to rushes, gets stronger if you let him to the middle game, and finally gets starved at the end.

Anyhow, AI may be good for practicing APM and building orders. Some players said that they beat Insane level. I believe. You must be darn fast to do that. So AI level can measure your game effectiveness.

Oh, and I played placement matches. I lost all, as I am bad. I even think that I am worse then before, and getting worse every day. Practice, practice, and practice...
